For Renee, posing in an environment like this is just as special for her as it is for us. “There’s a sort of magic that happens when you’re able to embody the most authentic version of yourself without [being] forced to split off your sexuality or creativity in that expression,” she says of posing nude. “It’s a chance for me to show how I view myself and encourage others to do the same!” To pose in this way is empowering, too, for Renee. “Female empowerment is expressing one’s sexuality and gender in a way that feels authentic and non-performative,” she says. “Shooting with an all female crew was one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done.
